it sounded like a cute idea....

i bought this cute little Sula Paint & Peel nail polish thinking it seemed like a good idea- peeling your nail polish off when you were tired of it but then i remembered that i'm pretty sure i had seen something like this for little girls but i wanted to try it.

it went on better than i thought although it still felt tacky after it had dried. by the time i had woken up the next morning half it had peeled off. i don't know if i painted on too much but it didn't really work out. it did peel off super quick and was kind of fun to do but...it don't think i'll be buying another bottle anytime soon.

I read a post on this lovely blog about how she wanted to be a marine biologist when she was a kid. It seems like every kid (including me) wants to be a marine biologist at some point but they never do. Then I remembered that I knew a marine biologist. He was cute :)

the doggie in the window

my office build also has apartments and it seems like almost everyone who lives there has a dog. i keep seeing this guy standing in the window when i pull into the parking deck. he's so cute! just keeping watch over our street.
