Night at the DBAP

Last night was the home opener for the Durham Bulls! They were honoring the Duke basketball team and Matty and I were there. We got ballpark food and way too much mustard.

We posed with the National Champioship trophy.

Matty tried to pose with the trophy wearing Jamie's UNC hat. I refused to take the picture, people booed. I yanked that hat right off and took this one.

Eric and I discovered we were wearing boy and girl versions Sperry's and decided we should trade one of our shoes with each other. My version:

After the game, we went to Tyler's for way too long but had lots of fun times. Walking out, Jamie found a tiny house to hang out in.

And Eric climbed a pole like a monkey in Sperry's.

And then we all went home. Good times had by all.

2010 NATIONAL CHAMPIONS DUKE BLUE DEVILS!!

The game was c-r-a-z-y and came down to the VERY last few seconds but somehow we won. Amazing!

Jon Scheyer, Brian Zoubek, Lance Thomas, Kyle Singler, Nolan Smith, Miles Plumlee, Mason Plumlee, Andre Dawkins and all the guys, thanks so much for an amazing, special, magical year ending in a national championship!!!

Lunch with Matty!

Matty happened to be out and about today and we got to have lunch at Tyler's! It makes me so happy to have random weekday lunches with friends. Plus we got to sit outside in this amazing 80 degree sunshine.

Conclusion: I need some normal pictures on my desk.

All right....

I get it. I get it. We lost to Maryland...on their Senior night, one of those senoirs just happens to be one of the best players in the ACC. But come on UNC fans, really?? Why are all of you so happy about this?? I don't understand...
